The Cross Compact fountain pen may be a small pen, but it has the weight and features of a full-size fountain pen and is easy to use and comfortable in your hand. The Cross Compact is a three-quarter size pen, featuring an cap in enameled, translucent colors and chrome body with an etched ring pattern. This cap is placed at the top of the pen to extend it's size and help with the balance, therefore giving a more comfortable writing position. The Cross Compact is a great fountain pen which writes really well. The ink flow is lovely and smooth, with no blotting. Ink refills are fairly easy to get hold of and in a good selection of colors. Overall it has a great feel to it, it looks great and it is very easy to use! I definately recommend this class act from Cross, overall one for the collection.
