The Verve is an eye catching design, being both retro and modern at the same time. It has good weight and balance. The only draw back I could find is that the chrome can be a little slippery to hold, but that problem diminishes as I grow used to the pen. Excellent value, excellent pen.

I gave the Cross Verve fountain pen as a gift to a flatmate. They loved it, using it whenever they can. As it remained in the house, I have had occasions to use it myself.
