Cross Pens

The regenerated reputation of fountain pens in everyday use throughout the recent number of years has been mirrored by a rise in the number of collectors. Collectors of vintage pens vary from a lot of collectors in that a lot of them opt to use their collection, at least from time to time. Recently I tried out a Cross pen from a mate of mine and felt I was in the presence of something special. Couple of days ago I found a merchant offering for sale a Cross Century II Starlight Midnight Blue. Luckily I won it for a bargain price. The sales page assured that it was in great condition and yes was he right. It was in in great condition, with inner and outer boxes and all the papers. What a wonderful Cross and one and all is asking me where they can purchase one. The significant fact for me is that it is a great pen. It floats across paper like no other pen I’ve ever used. I must praise the Cross designers, without doubt is a masterpiece.
