I have owned my Montblanc Star Watch for approximately five years and it is an aethestically beautiful timepiece that looks terrific on the wrist. This is the first time I've ever really been tempted by a watch with a price over three digits. The movement on the Star Steel is an ETA 2824 a very well respected movement. The watch itself is very thick, and the descriptions (11mm) do not convey the reality. Especially with the relatively small diameter (38mm), it seems chunky on the wrist, but I like that feel. The functionality is normal, HH:MM:SS, date, and a rotating bezel, but the styling really carries the day. A robust dive watch, but with elegant script numerals and restrained use of the Montblanc white star logo. Fit and finish are, of course, immaculate.
