Parker Pens

The renewed status of fountain pens in everyday use across the last several years has been accompanied by a rise in the quantity of collectors. These collectors of rare pens vary from most other collectors in that lots of them select to use their collectibles, at least now and again. A vintage fountain pen can quite literally last a lifetime if it is well cared for.

Recently I used a Parker rollerball pen from a mate of mine and felt I was in the attendance of something special. Recently on eBay I was happy to find a merchant offering a Parker Frontier Stainless Steel Gold Trim. Fortunately I secured it for a brilliant price. The description assured that it was new in the box and boy was he right. It was in in great condition, with internal and outer boxes and all the papers. This is a beautiful Parker and all my friends is asking me where they can find one. The most important fact for me is that it is a wonderful Parker pen. It glides across paper like no other pen I’ve ever used. I congratulate the Parker designers, without doubt is a masterpiece.

It is key to pick a nib with the most suitable head to suit individual writing habits. There are distinct flow breadths that make correspondingly variable handwriting, depending on the level of pressure that is placed on them.
