Parker Pens

Most writers say using a fountain pen may be one of the wonderful pleasures of life. Once demoted to public school classrooms and the tweed suit pockets of teachers, fountain pens these days are basking in a resurgance amongst those who are looking for a change from the joyless anonymity of the cut-price pen and computer.

Within my collection are some Parker writing instruments and I’ve been getting pleasure from them for years. Uttering Parker says all you need to know about class and esteem. The pen I’m talking about, the Parker Sonnet 2008 Laque Black Gold Trim, betters in form and function all my other pens. This has fabulous grip, the ink flows effortlessly on the paper, and the weight of the pen feels just right. Compared to others this is very modern and has good balance for writing. If you like Parker quality you will enjoy this one.

If you are stuck for an original but nonetheless practical present for a family member, you may look at giving them a fountain pen. Anybody who loves writing and loves the better things in life, a fountain pen may well prove to be the best present.
