Parker Pens

The revived regard of fountain pens as writing instruments across the last several years has been mirrored by an increase in the amount of collectors. Collectors of vintage pens vary from a lot of collectors in that a lot of them prefer to use their collectibles, at least occasionally. A antique fountain pen can literally last you for a lifetime if it is well cared for.

About a month ago I borrowed a Parker fountain pen from a good friend and felt I was in the presence of something special. Hunting around I was happy to find a merchant auctioning a Parker Frontier Translucent Black. Luckily I purchased it for a superb price. The details guaranteed that it was new in the box and yes was he accurate. It was in in excellent condition, with inner and external boxes and all the papers. Without doubt this is a wonderful pen and all my friends is asking me where they can purchase one. The most noteworthy fact for me is that it is a classic Parker pen. It writes across paper like no other writing instrument I’ve ever used. I congratulate the Parker artists, without doubt is a masterpiece.

It is key to decide upon a nib with the right flow to suit the users writing habits. There are different point widths that make correspondingly variable handwriting, dependant upon the pressing that is exerted on them.
