Sheaffer Pens

The renewed popularity of fountain pens in everyday use throughout the past several years has been mirrored by a hike in the number of collectors. These collectors of classic pens differ from a lot of collectors in that most of them choose to use their collection, at least every so often. A good fountain pen can possibly last a lifetime if it is well kept.

Not that long ago I tried out a Sheaffer ballpoint from a work colleague and felt I was in the presence of something special. After a brief search I found a merchant offering a Sheaffer 300 Blue Marble with Chrome Cap. Fortunately I secured it for a bargain price. The details stated that it was new in the box and I must say was he correct. It was in like new condition, with inside and outer boxes and all the papers. What a wonderful writing instrument and everybody is asking me where they can buy one. The best fact for me is that it is a wonderful writing instrument. It floats across paper like no other pen I’ve ever used. I congratulate the Sheaffer artisans, it really is a masterpiece.
