The revived popularity of fountain pens in everyday use over the past number of years has been followed by a hike in the number of collectors. Not that long ago I borrowed a Sheaffer rollerball pen from a friend and felt I was in the presence of something special. Recently on eBay I discovered a merchant selling a Sheaffer Agio Black Laque. The good news is I purchased it for a superb price. It was said that it was new in the box and wow was he right. It was in like new condition, with internal and external boxes and all the papers. Without doubt this is a great writing instrument and one and all is asking me where they can purchase one. The best fact for me is that it is a wonderful writing instrument. It floats across paper like no other writing instrument I’ve ever used. I must praise the Sheaffer creators, it really is a masterpiece.

It is important to pick a nib with the correct head to accomodate each persons writing habits. There are alternative point widths that give correspondingly diverse writing, dependant upon the force that is exerted on them.
