Waterman Pens

The revived status of fountain pens for writing during the last number of years has been accompanied by an increase in the amount of collectors. Collectors of antique pens are different from other collectors in that lots of them opt to use their collectibles, at least now and again. A vintage fountain pen can literally last you for a lifetime if it's well kept.

Not that long ago I used a Waterman fountain pen from a good friend and felt I was in the presence of something special. Hunting around I fortunately discovered a merchant offering for sale a Waterman Carene Black Sea ST. Thankfully I bought it for a superb price. The sales page assured that it was in excellent condition and yes was he accurate. It was in as good as new condition, with inside and outside boxes and all the papers. What a beautiful pen and everyone is asking me where they can buy one. The best fact for me is that it is a beautiful Waterman pen. It glides across paper like no other pen I’ve ever used. I must praise the Waterman artisans, without doubt is a masterpiece.

It's important to decide upon a nib with the right point to accomodate individual writing habits. There are alternative head sizes that give correspondingly different sized scripts, depending upon the pressing that is exerted on them.
